A Client Turned Good Friend

I am blessed to know such a kind soul. When I attended her daughter's 2nd birthday party, I sat next to a friend of hers/a stranger to me. We were talking about the mom of these two children below and her friend said something along the lines of, "S is just kind - I'll mention how adorable something is and then she'll have picked the same thing up for me next time I see her." I had the same story to tell. I mentioned how cute her daughter's headbands were when we first met and in a few weeks I had a package of 10-12 headbands/beanies/clip on flowers in my mail. She barely knew me. She's just that sort of person. We don't see each other that often (although hoping to have a play date next week!) but when we do, we catch up like hardly any time has passed - it's not awkward. I didn't feel like blogging tonight but I wanted to get a bunch of images off my computer. I'm so glad I did blog...it helped to remind me of the good that life (and God, in my opinion) can randomly bring you. I love you, friend...and thank you for loving me.

...and this is her beautiful 'baby' girl and beautiful baby boy now. This file was so huge that the hosting service condensed it so much that it's more 'fuzzy' now than sharp. Not too happy about that, but I'll be moving to a pro blog soon so I'm not going to worry about it too much - I blogged, that's a feat in itself! ;)
