Happy 9 Months, Baby Girl!!

Dear Riley Grace!

I can't believe it's been 9 months!!!!!! Where did the time go? I'm already planning your 1 year birthday party! It seems like yesterday I was in the hospital with a little baby that cried every couple of hours and I was freaking out not knowing if I was doing things right. Sooooo glad those days are over. You're pretty easy now. ;)

You are the light of my life. I swear I love you more each month and it doesn't seem possible that I could love you any more, but I do.

A few things happened this month:

You are now STANDING UP IN YOUR CRIB! Holy, holy, holy...you almost gave me a heart attack when I was sitting at the computer and you were "talking" to me to get my attention and I turned around and you were standing! Thankfully, my camera phone was right next to me and I was able to get some pictures of it. Now you think it's a game to pull yourself up and then, PLOP!, sit right back down. I cannot believe how you've grown.

You've got about six teeth now! The top two are coming in and then the two sides of those are peeking through! And you've started to eat "Puffs" along with 3rd Stage Gerber food...it has little chunks in it to help you learn how to chew. Big girl stuff! ;)

You are still so good...I seriously don't think I could have another baby after you. You are almost perfect! You sleep through the night, are so good when we are in restaurants, sleep in your own crib, have teethed so well. I am soooooooo blessed.

I love spending time with you. I feel like we have really started to bond. I lay down at night and just thank God for the blessing of you. You are so wonderful and I love you so much.

I cannot wait to experience all the upcoming holidays with you. Mommy spent way too much (in my opinion) on your little Minnie Mouse costume but I plan on using it for three different events. I also have you in your "Halloween pajamas" in some of these pictures. I might take you to a pumpkin patch in those too! You have no idea all the photoshoots I have planned in the next few months. Which brings me to...

You hate the camera. These top two pics were the best I could get tonight. I shouldn't have waited so long and that will teach me for next month. But you definitely don't care for the camera. Tough luck for you. ;)

We have your 9 month Dr. appt on Tuesday. Maybe I'll get another picture with you and Dr. Rick. I can't wait to see how much you weigh and how tall you are now. I wonder if we'll be moving up to "4" in diapers. I bet we will.

I'm sure there is more I can write, but those are the "important" things I can remember right now.

I love you so much, baby girl. You are my sunshine.

Jake & Kori - MARRIED

Such an honor to document the wedding of Al's sister Kori and her new groom Jake. Two beautiful people. Kori was probably the most relaxed bride EVER. She was so calm and amazing. She just wanted to take in the day and not stress about anything. I loved that. Here is a little slideshow set to their song they danced to as husband and wife. These are only some of my favorite images of my take on the day.
